    Yeah this is a kit when I initially took the SG reading it was 1.058. I thought it was a bit odd as the instructions says it should read 1.070 - 1.097. Not sure what to do. It’s definitely reading 992 and it has been fermenting for Soild 2 weeks.

    Wine smells very chemical after adding stabiliser to the kit

    Hi, no It did not smell like it prior to adding, however i was to add stabiliser then 3 hours later to add the finings, but due to the smell I have left this for nearly 24 hours! This still has a slight smell, so not sure what to do next? Do I leave this longer and then add finings?
