Where in Wigan is the Wigan pickup point ? I am asking as it is often easier to drive down the M6 than get to the other side of Wigan.

    Plastic Barrels again!

I have 4 large PB's and one small one. I have never had a leak of beer (yet) in 2 years of brewing. I have had gas leaks due to the o ring on the cap, and now have a number of techniques to ensure it is sealed correctly (generally don't overtighten) . I have never had a leak from the post...

    Completed AG Recipe Kits-GEB/MM

It is not really a smash as there are three grains in the malt bill - I think the malt bill really complements the centennial hops and just the right level of hopping is done for the strength.

    Pressure keg top

I find on my standard pressure barrels (not king keg) if you overtighten the washer gets twisted and gas leaks. Its a fine line to get it tight enough, but a little trial and error while squirting a little gas in to check seems to work.

    Kegorator

I have read that and I am fine with the connection to a keg. It is the positioning of the pump on the keezer/kegerator I am interested in. It would be good to see some examples if there are any. Or does everyone mount it separately on a table at the side for instance.

    Another ruined batch !!?

You can use the refractometer after fermentation has started - you just need to use a calculator with the OG measurement also - See part II on this calculator Refractometer Calculator - Brewer's Friend (other calculators are available)

    Kegorator

Some great pics above, thanks guys. Has anyone an example of physically fitting a hand pump to a keezer/kegerator. I am thinking of converting an old chest freezer and would want to attach a hand pump as well as some taps. (Not talking about attaching to the corny, but physical attachment of...

The royals are actually Stuarts, but through the female line, so lost the name and switched as you say.
