Hi everyone just a quick question. Just bottled darkrock bosses boss. It says first 4 days keep temp at 24 degrees then move to a cooler place. Problem is the warmest place in the house is only 21. Will it make much difference? Cheers.

Hi Foxy, the last couple were Bells two hearted abv 6.2% and the other was a stout that was only abv 4.9%. I didn't know it was harder to reach the efficiency the higher the ABV. Cheers.

Wierd thing with this brew is its still bubbling away and it's been nearly 2 weeks now. Normally it bubbles for a couple of days then calms down a bit. Anyone else had a brew bubbling for so long? I'm supposed to add more hops just before end of fermentation but it's showing no signs of slowing...

Hi everyone, I'm brewing the bosses boss tomorrow from dark rock brewing. It says in the instructions cool the Wort to the temperature for the yeast supplied then add 1kg of brewing suger. Do I do the hydrometer reading for my og after putting the suger in or before? Thanks for your help. Cheers.

Sorry, just to be clear. Do you mean sparge with just 11 litres and add the extra 2 litres to the mash water? Could I just mash with most of the water say 26 litres then sparge with the remaining 7 litres.? Would that be ok aswell? Cheers.
