    Taplist Keg Level Manager

Hi All, I know there has been a lot of conversation about automated tracking systems for kegs, so I wanted to introduce you to a project I’ve been building and now have hardware integration. Taplist Keg Level Manager Full instructions for both hardware and software are provided, and it is...

    Taplist.io Keg Level Manager

Hi all, I've created a web app that might interest some people on here. It pulls your information from taplist.io and then allows you to monitor your keg levels on your taplist display using your laptop or smartphone. You can use metric, US imperial or British imperial units. All the info can...

    Mixed gas regulator not sealing

I ended up calling a gas company and they said there should be a back washer in place which wasn't included with my regulator. I put it on and it seems to be working for now

Advice for check valve with beer engine

Jus fitted the new demand valve @peebee and it works brilliantly! Fantastic idea, and as you say, actually far more convenient for serving at home. Thanks for your help!

    Mixed gas regulator not sealing

Hi everyone, need some help! I just got a bottle of 70/30 and a kegland mk4 mixed gas regulator, but I cannot for the life of me get the regulator to screw into the gas bottle properly. It won't budge after going into the thread about halfway and then gas is leaking. Am I missing a washer of...

Advice for check valve with beer engine

I just got in touch with RLBS and ordered that part. I'll report back if it works!

Advice for check valve with beer engine

My main issue is that I installed a drain tap in order to not have to clear the lines of old beer at the start of a new session, thus I waste less beer. At this point, I end up wasting just as much pulling through the water and beer mix until all the water is out

Advice for check valve with beer engine

Ok that makes sense, thank you! I've taken it apart to have a look at the mechanism, and there's a cooling jacket around the cylinder so I can't work out how to get it open to have a look at the piston and see if anything is broken. I wonder if I could put a non return valve on the barb hose...

Advice for check valve with beer engine

Yeah it is.It doesn't have a non return valve but I don't think it's meant to. That's why I have the demand valve inside the keezer as that's effectively my non return valve. I'm not 100% on the model as I got it second hand but I think it's an EWL Worthside and they don't have them. When I open...

Advice for check valve with beer engine

Not the best picture, but you can see the drain valve underneath. The demand valve is inside the keezer and the lines run through the collar. When I open that drain valve, all the beer comes out and there's definitely nothing left in the pump

Advice for check valve with beer engine

I checked today and more of a mystery. I tried putting water in Infront of the demand valve (so bypassing it) and the pump won't suck it through. It's almost like I have to feed water to the pump to generate enough of a vacuum to pull any liquid through the lines at the demand valve @peebee No...

Advice for check valve with beer engine

I thought about that and checked. Drain valve definitely shut and all seals definitely sealed. Ive been over it a few times now, its driving me mad!

Advice for check valve with beer engine

Hi everyone, I've set up a hand pump with the RLBS demand valve. I have gas pressure set to 150mbar using a propane regulator so really low pressure. Problem is, I can't serve beer unless I prime the pump first with water. I have a drain valve so the at the end of a session I can leave the line...

    Covid - Plan B & Omicron

If you look at YouGov or any of the polling sites, there's been lots of research on this, and the British public are very in favour of restrictions on the unvaccinated and stronger protective measures such as covid passports etc. It's about a 70/30 split in general. We just have a very vocal...

    Can I use a 3 way gas distributor/manifold with 2 kegs?

Looking for a system with room to upgrade in the future. The price difference means Id rather buy a 3 way distributor and shut one off until I want to upgrade to another keg. Can I do that?
