    Pint365 beer engine

This thread is interesting to me. My dad is desperate to put a batch through his beer engine and I've been trying to figure it out. On this valve...has anyone thought about using the bowtie spunding valve to do the same job, perhaps putting it in line before the keg? Not sure it would work

    Ss brewtech unitank

Well thanks for the advice everyone. I ended up buying a fermzilla to go with my fermentasaurus. The idea being that I can use the second one as a bright tank/fermenter/dry hopping place. I think I will eventually upgrade, but if I do I think it would be the brewtools f80. However I'd also...

Cloudwater and hazy ddh neipa beers

Yeah. My waters pretty good here. But the filters are so cheap now that it's not really a massive outlay. Wouldn't be sure how to change water additions though.

Cloudwater and hazy ddh neipa beers

Yes yes. Brilliant. I've got a fermentersaurus v1 so can ferment fully closed. Was also gonna get a fermzilla and use one as a bright tank/fermenter/ hop keg.. I've got gas to top back up and 3 kegs and I'm feeling brave. Read all the stuff in the cloudwater link that northern brewer put up...

Cloudwater and hazy ddh neipa beers

Hello I'm looking for some good recipes that would be similar to a cloudwater hazy ddh. Just had a northern monk colab that was beautiful, pictures attached. Relatively new to the full mash set up but happy to give anything a go. Thanks in advance

Brewzilla whirlpool arm and transfer to fermentor

Well I did use a hop spider with my last boil but I ran the recirculation pump during and pointed the tube just above the hops, a bit like a sparge but over the hops.

Brewzilla whirlpool arm and transfer to fermentor

I was considering attaching a bit of pipe to the hole where the pump inlet is so that it draws from a little bit higher therefore leaving everything at the bottom. This might mean a bit more wastage but I would usually of left that in the pan anyway racking from the top. I would also need to...

Brewzilla whirlpool arm and transfer to fermentor

Yeah. Would still have to rack from top though?

    Ss brewtech unitank

Hey I am seriously considering spending 1600 quid on a 7 gallon unitank with accessories. I really like the way they look and I love the idea of each cleaning but it's a serious amou t of money. You could get 10 fermzillas for that much nearly. I also don't like the fact you can't see inside...

Brewzilla whirlpool arm and transfer to fermentor

Hey everybody. It went well today. I did a dme brew coz I had a batch that needed brewing. However using the pump transfer to the fermenter, although it wad nice and easy, moved lots of proteins in the FV that would usually be left in the pan when using the u bend and the wand. Not sure if this...

Brewzilla whirlpool arm and transfer to fermentor

Hi everybody. Hoping someone can help. I have just bought a brewzilla 3.1.1 and got a whirlpool arm with it. My question is: is it possible to use the pump to transfer my wort to my fermenter using the pump after I've collected a nice trub prymid in the middle. It looks like the Intake from...

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.ikegger.com/blogs/ikeggerworld/dry-hopping-under-pressure-more-aroma-less-oxygen This guy chats a bit about it. Worth a try? Think though u would have to drink it relatively quick tho

    Maintaining that aroma.

Hi everybody I'm new here but was literally wondering the same last night whilst drinking a hazy Jane. A few things I thought about were: -Hop choice, perhaps something with a more pungent long lasting aroma. The hazy Jane for example is really fruity and quite peppery. Maybe there is...
