I’m looking for a FV to fit into my fermentation fridge with pressure fermenting in mind. Fridge dimensions: Height: 49cm Depth: 43cm Width : 44cm Stainless steel ideally but that may be one step too far at the moment. Any suggestions?

These prices are very good. Do they provide detailed fermenting characteristics for the yeast? On initial inspection I couldn’t see anything.

Just searched on digital refractometers and prices seem to be in the £30-40 range or £300-400 range with nothing in between. What is the difference? May stick with my hydrometer for Fg readings.

The numbers being suggested above are totally at odds with the relative differences between beer styles I am being recommended by feeding my water from the water supplier website which I then feed into the Grainfather app. I think I need to start again, get my water professionally analysed and...

I like the efficiency of my counter flow chiller but I always feel it’s an act of faith that I have cleaned, sterilised and rinsed sufficiently after use and rely on running through with boiling wort before chilling as an insurance policy.

I have two 8l Oxenar bottles for that extra 5L left over after filling by crony’s. Great as they fit on top of the compressor hump in my Keezer. Only issue is cleaning (bottle and dip tube). My go for the mini keg approach going forwards and s*d the expense.
