    Kegland co2 regulator

I got this one from AliExpress last Sept, comes with hose and connectors. Would be about 46 stg now, nothing express about delivery but works perfectly - you have to pick which co2 tank connector you require CGA320 or W21.8 and reads 0-60 feed and 0-3000psi tank. Atm I have it permanently...

Campden tablets & Lactic acid - when and how much to use with wine.

Thanks Engineer. I put it on last Sunday without using anything bar what came in the kit - sg 1.070 and target 9.2%. Pretty painless so far and I'm keeping temps at 22°, it has been bubbling away happily since Monday so another 9 days before the next step. The instructions say to add some...

Campden tablets & Lactic acid - when and how much to use with wine.

Waiting on delivery of a VineCo 30 bottle Moscato and plan on putting it on at the weekend, it will hopefully turn out a medium sweet white. I will be using a plastic beer fermenter with an airlock for this. My water profile is ph 7.3 and I was thinking of adding some Lactic Acid to bring this...

fgoulding, do you use tap water and do you add anything to it. I just read an SDCC report on water in my area, it shows as soft water with a ph of 7.3 which means little to me but I've read elsewhere on the forum of people balancing the ph to circa 5.2, I don't know if that is for a particular...

Are 6 bottle wine kits worth it?

I made up a Beaverdale Rioja 6 bottle kit at the end of August '21, bottled 4th October and quaffed over Christmas. Worked out at €3 per bottle and the notes I took are - nice & fruity, easy to drink, around 9% abv. I would like to try a Merlot in a 30 bottle kit next but my better half is...

    Coopers Family Secret Ale/Masterpint IPA

Thanks for the info, I have an MJ Grapefruit to make first so should get both of these done separately before bb date. Storage after brewing is my problem, I have lost faith in PBs and both cornies and most of my bottles are occupied - now how can I solve that :onechug:

    Coopers Family Secret Ale/Masterpint IPA

Looking for pointers on something I'm thinking of doing. I have a Coopers Family Secret ale and a Masterpint IPA and I haven't read much good about either, both got in a sale with 6 months left on best before. Coopers is a 1.7kg single can and the other is a 1.6kg pouch, if I mixed both together...

Thanks damierair, I've been buying from The Homebrew Company and Homebrew West. I have a Mangrove Jacks Grapefruit IPA yet to brew but I will definitely look at the Bruphoria and Festival kits kits.

Hi all and thanks for accepting me, I have been reading and looking at advice on the site for a few months. Back kit brewing about a year, used to brew Boots kits and wine from a local HBS about 30 years ago, things have changed a lot. Started back with a fermentation bucket, HBS own kit, 40 pet...
