I am having the same problem at the mo...I initially thought it may be a leaking cap/valve then I came across your post. Can anyone shed any light on the above problem...I am quickly running out of CO2 bulbs :) Can the cold weather affect pressure? Cheers

I was just about to write a review of the Festival 'Father Hook' kit but the above sums up more or less the brewing process I found with this kit. I did find the SG a little low....but as said above I got it down to below 1009 so more than happy with that. It also took 2 weeks to ferment...

Thanks for this..I've just done as suggested and the centre does not come out...so its going back. I can't understand why they are selling this type of valve complete with an injector for the 8gm bulbs....Lesson learned...go to a shop that knows the score unless buying raw ingredients.
