Any tips on getting a more creamy Guinness like head? My stouts have always been lacking a good creamy head, I know Guinness use some nitrogen injection or something but anyway to replicate that at home?

know its a mass-produced, commercial beer but my vote for best beer in the world is black nectar, Guinness. I must have tried 500+ different beers in my lifetime but none have surpassed a perfectly pulled pint of the black stuff :drink:

Would never have guessed it was a kit, assumed it was AG as it really was a cracking pint, very surprised. I was never able produce anything half as good when I done kits. Well done to you sir, superbly executed :thumb:

I have loads of 500ml brown glass beer bottles, I have been collecting from my resturant. I have far more than I can use so if anyone wants some they are free if you can come collect them in St. Andrews. They have the original labels on them and will need a bit of a clean but hey they're free...

Yeah he does all the farmer's markets in Fife. Yeah all his beers are really good, try any if you get the chance :thumb:

it certainly is, we stock their beers in my restaurant so I pretty much have a limitless supply of them. They are cracking beers, all done by the one guy, nice chap too. Labels are a bugger to get off!
