    beer keg boiler

    hi, Does anybody use a converted pub beer keg/barrel for a boiler, if so is it anygood because i have the opertunity to buy one cheap that isnt required anymore.

    done these kits a few times, better than expected them to be, lager is my favourite, but dont drink it after drinking AG brew ;)

    manifold cleaning

    hi, this may sound like a silly question, but Has anybody got any ideas on a good way how to clean copper tube manifold in mash tun and boiler? :hmm:

    Thanks for the replies folks, Still cant believe i only lost one degree, from memory when i tested it with just water i lost 3 or 4 degrees. Just checked FV and its lifted the lid and trying to climb out :lol:

    hi folks, Did my first AG brew yesterday, Bathams best bitter clone. All went well, a few suprises though, pre heated mash tun, then added water at around 72 degrees, added grain and the temp had already dropped to 66 degrees (maybe i spent too long putting the grain in!) anyway i put the lid...

    hi, Done this a couple of times, one of my favourites, been told its better if you can leave it to mature for twelve months, never managed to keep it past six :lol: Dont use to much sugar when bottling, found it tends to get a bit lively the longer its left :cheers:

    hi folks, Been brewing kits for a couple of years now, although most of these are good i'm getting a bit bored, so at the moment have nearly finished building my AG set up, and looking forward to doing my first brew, :cheers:
