Re: Wilco 30 bottle white wine kit

About the tartaric acid. I read that 12grams can be fatal to human beings. Do you think it is good to be messing with this stuff in your wine.??

Wilko's 30 bottle deep red Merlot Review

Hi. I have made 2 Muntons Cab Sav bought from Wilkos and they came out very nice. Deep red and quite tasty. They both took a month to complete. I was impressed at £1.35 per bottle. So much so that they go very quickly.

Re: Wilco 30 bottle white wine kit

Hi. I bought the Muntons Cab Sav 30 bottle kits at Wilkinsons. I have done 2 of these now and they are very drinkable immediately on bottling. They do get much better after about a month. For my taste they are medium dry and better than what the supermarkets sell for £4-£5 per bottle. At £37...

    Replacement Wine Screw caps

Hi Bob. Mine arrived today and look great. Have a 30 bottle Kenridge Showcase Australian Cab Sav to bottle next week and will give these a try. Thanks again and would you be getting these on a regular basis? If you do I would order some more in the future and would be more than pleased to...

Muntons Premium Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 30 Bottle Review

I agree. Very easy quaffing wine and cheap at the price. Just finished bottling my second 30 bottles. I tend to use 5 litre boxes for this wine. Save the bottles for my expensive wines , Kenridge Classic Chateau du Roi and Kenridge Showcase Australian Cabernet Sauvignon.

    Which white?

I have 20+ bottles of Kenridge classic Sauvingnon Blanc maturing. I bottled on the 10 March for the summer. Even young tastes very nice. I also did a kenridge classic Chateau du Rois bottled on 24 March. This is an excellent red and can't wait for it to mature. I have another in the FV at the...

    Woodfordes Admiral Reserve Review

Hi. I have made 2 batches of Admirals Reserve, 2 of Wherry and 2 of Sundew.out of all of them the Wherry I found to be really bitter. The Admirals reserve was full flavour but not really bitter like the Wherry. The Sundew initially was really sweet but after 6 weeks turned out to be really...

    Kenridge classic sauvignon blanc

Would love to try the Kenridge Sauvignon Blanc but will have to wait for a while. We probably drink 5 reds for 1 white so this should last a while. I will eventually try the founders series as I have found a brand I like so see no need to change from KenRidge. They have an amazing spread of...

    Woodfordes, Sundew Review

I brewed a Sundew in January and put it in a 5 gallon keg. The first few pints were sweet and had a flowery taste. Now 2 months later it has lost a lot of sweetness and all the flowery taste. It is my favourite at the moment. I have also a keg of Wherry which is very nice, and bottled Admirals...

    Kenridge classic sauvignon blanc

Ok. Bottled the this KenRidge Sauvignon Blanc today. Had previously racked it twice and then filtered. It looks very clear in the bottle. The taste is amazing for a wine so young. Ended up with 26 and 3/4 bottles. Will finish the odd 3/4 bottle tonight probably. ( ok then for sure) Excellent...

    KenRidge classic Sauvignon Blanc

Hi I started this 30 bottle kit on 6 feb. 8 days later on the 14 Feb the SH was 994, so I transferred it to another clean FV. Now on the 17 Feb the SG has fallen to 988 and there is absolutely no bubbles, and the room is exactly 22 degrees for the entire fermentation. The kit instructions say to...

    Woodfordes Wherry Review

Hi. I did a batch of wherry in January and bottled it in pet bottles. It came out very clear but dark and my god very bitter. I have a second batch that I finished in a cask. This is just starting to clear and does not have the extreme bitterness of the bottled version. Any body have any views...
