    Hi eaamaann, i have made loads of ribena wine, they are always slow starters and to be honest dont very often get much faster when the do start. Did you boil the ribena first before using it to drive off some of the preservatives? This usually helps to get things going a bit quicker!

    Oh My God, my wife caught me having an affair and has kicked me out and poured 28 gallons of my summer wines down the drain, i felt like my life had ended. She then smashed 33 demi johns ans gave all my other equipment away on freecycle :o Im gutted absoultely gutted feel like crying !

    Is this normal?

    I piut 5 gallons on the other day and it has fizzdedits nuts off ever since, still in the FV at the moment. If its fizzing dood it fermenting the co2 production is part of the fermentation process, does smell tho doesnt it lol I put loads of lemons in mine so that makes it smell a lot better
