Ritchies On the Rocks, Mixed Berry Cider Review

I tried this one and must have added too much sugar, came out somewhere between paint stripper and a cheap, not very nice rose wine. Left to condition for two months, still rubbish so poured away. Would not go near it again.

    Fiery Ginger Beer

Just done my second batch of this. Just cracked open the first bottle, and......... It's as clear as water! Literally like water, not like cloudy lemonade that I was expecting Tastes alright though I left the ginger in a FV for a week in a warm cupboard, racked to a clean FV and removed...

    Little bottler v's a tap

Guys I am new to this and at first was trying to siphon into bottles from my FV. Obviously made a bloody mess. So brought a little bottler, but the flow rate is slow and takes ages. But why bother with that at all and not just use a tap on a FV and pour it in?? Seems to work and the beer...

    Wine Barrels

First time wine kit maker / bottling

Hi This is one of those questions that starts "this could be a stupid question, but......" Never made a wine kit before, but made quite a few beer / cider kits and the famous ginger beer recipe on this site. Am being given a wine kit for my birthday next week. Don't have any wine bottles...

    New to all of this

Hi New to brewing and forums so getting two for the price of one! Got a kit for christmas, almost poisoned myself in January, but since then have rarely been sober. Particularly like the strong-ish golden beers and just tried my first batch of cider, which is passable....... The beers though...
