    Got some more yeast, can't remember which brand it was in a gold packet. I activated it and added it and the next morning it had gone off like a rocket. How is everyone elses doing??

    Oh Thank you! I thought it would be the same as the Elderflower wine kit I just did. I added 400g at the end and stood it for a bit before bottling and it was flat This Cider kit require 5oz adding and I thought it would be to sweeten it also

    I will be kicking it off tomorrow night. I'm going for the Tropical Fruit Riesling. £42 for 30 bottles so it works out about £1.40 a bottle..... :drunk: Takes 4 weeks so we have decided everytime hubby gets paid we will get one of them to run obviously depending on how it goes

    I thought that ones made from scratch needed longer to mature, and kits were brewed and drinkable much faster? I hope the same! I will definately buy it if it comes out at Christmas it sounds right up my street I love spiced apple! :party:

    I didn't think that I would have to wait so long to drink it.... I expected it to be ready straight away but can now see that it would be prudent to leave it bottled for a few month which is disappointing as I have nothing to drink :D I have heard talk of a Spiced Apple one, but googling...

    Got an 'On the Rocks' kit last Friday and its been on the go since. Mine is the Blueberry flavour My cousin also got one, his is the Raspberry and Lime one. Does anyone else regularly do these kits and which are your favourite? Any recommendations for how long to stand it for in the bottles...

    It still hasn't taken off, it's in my old airing cupboard and am worrying its too cold or maybe unhappy in there? Shall I just remain patient?
