Well look what's in the box
It's a big beastie
In it's proper environment . . .And that is a 5L conical poking it's head out
No problem fitting the lid with a 5L conical in place, with the rack in...
OK You can buy New AEB ones from The Malt Miller for 80 Quid.
The ones I have have been fully refurbished including new O rings and poppets and a new silicone lid seal. Functionally they are perfect if a little battered cosmetically.
As you can see they hold pressure, the bail bar is not...
Didn't really want to do this and have them on here and on eBay but needs must.
In the vain hope of raising funds for my 150L Jacketed conical, I have decided that I need to cull my corny herd.
I've sold one breeding pair, via PM to a member on here and thought I would offer the next pair...

You lot only have yourself to blame!! All your discussions on Electronic dodads, have forced me to ask She for once of these for Christmas.
Initially I'm using it to monitor the temps of my new Plate Chiller (In and Out, Wort AND Coolant) . . . but It will probably be used for fermentation...
"The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent events in Syria and have therefore raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz...
Daft Name . . . Fantastic Beer!
Mole is the latest in a range of beers to come out of Wibblers brewery named after country animals. it is a strictly one off annual special, and consists of two gyles from the mash tun one at around 10-12% (the Wobbly. . . wonder why it's called that) and one at...
Don't know if this is the right section for this, but my comment was aimed fairly and squarely at an erroneous conclusion drawn by someone from the book. I stand by my comments In no way can you compare a modern 'Hop Forward' American IPA to a traditional British IPA! And I find the vast...

This is a premium quality 'No Boil' beer kit comprising 2Kg of light dry malt extract, and a couple of sachets of pre isomerised hop pellets (Hallertau Hersbrucker), a couple of sachets of grains (crushed crystal malts) and a genuine lager yeast (Brewferm 12g sachet). I got mine from The Home...
Finally managed to knock this little number together. It feels a little more involved than making up a 2 can kit . . . especially if like me, you apply a few few 'advanced' brewing techniques.
The instructions are OK, and following them you can produce a good beer. What is especially...
Expensive top of the range kit from Canada. As it is only concentrated to 7.5 Litres this adds considerably to the shipping costs which goes some way to explain the high price.
These kits are traditionally brewed (i.e Mashed and Boiled) then concentrated, so compared to kits that are blended...
Also covers Analysis of Brewing Techniques, Fix and Fix
Both these books discuss the 'theory' of brewing very heavily, without really discussing the practical application of the theory, the Author is assuming that you can take the information presented, and with your practical experience apply...

I've always been partial to those commercial bottle coolers, but they are a bit expensive second hand (350-500 quid) still...
