    just set this away , instructions are a bit vague on the box dosnt give a temp for pitching yeast so had to go with around 24 c instructions say add hop sachet then yeast which i did and leave to stand 4/6 days between 18/20c( prolly leave it in fv for 10 days though before bottling) then stand...

    planning my next brew and thinking of doing wilkos dark stout but using 2 kits and adding 500gms of molasses sugar , question is do i use both yeasts or just one , thanks

    no head on stout

    i cracked open a couple of bottles of coopers last night a bit early but just for a test lol i had them in the fridge all day and when i poured them no head nada nothing , yet when i poured a couple from the cuboard wow cracking head that all most stayed till the bottom of the glass the ones...

    Priming

    im thinking of using dark muscovado sugar for priming my stout , its the natural unrefined cane stuff it,ll be okay use that wont it im hoping so cos i plan to use 500gms of in my next brew :D smells lovely , thanks

    another homebrew nub lol

    as above , on my first brew now a coopers stout , im from Northumberland looking forward to some good brews ;) done my first one as per the instructions but seen some nice ideas for my next one . thanks for having me
