    Brewdog in trouble again

It was more of a comment on the putting their foot in it part. It's a typical Brewdog advertising stunt, the same kind of thing they've been doing for years. It's always a calculated move, I disagree with it being painted as something else because of the negative press Brewdog are getting right now.

    Family car recommendations?

I've got a Dacia Duster, plenty room in the back and the boot is massive. No kids to put in it but I could if I wanted to, haha! You'd get change off of £15,000 for one of the basic models.

    Brewdog in trouble again

While the £15K is a bit of a stretch, calculating value based on more than the cost of the raw materials is legit. A pint of beer in a pub costs more than just the cost of the malt, yeast, hops etc.

    Brewdog in trouble again

I saw something where someone had calculated that a 'Solid Gold' can would weigh somewhere between 6 and 7 kg and be worth about £300k. Even if the can was a normal hollow can made of nothing but gold they still couldn't call it 'solid'. It was a mistake and they did drop the 'solid' part from...

Greg hughes single hop pale ale

Currently got the Saaz variant of this going myself! The recipe in the book calls Carapils, was it an intentional switch to use Caramalt or just a typo? The original recipe was based on Amarillo with 5% AA and the OP used Amarillo with 8.9% AA, that should account for the difference in weights!

Are corny keg lids a standard shape and size?

Ahhhh, I get you. With the corny, the posts aren't connected to the lid. More kegs is always the plan, I'd love to have enough to be able to have 4 taps going, and be able to tie them up for the proper conditioning times etc. Going to need a garage full :laugh8:

Are corny keg lids a standard shape and size?

Won't leaving the floating one attached save you the bother? I've got a couple of Fermenter King Junior's that only have the floating kit and they work a treat. Never had a corny, does the solid dip tube give you something that the floating one doesn't?

Krispy Kreme price swap PC sacked

That's interesting, I wonder where the line is? I mean, I can't imagine you'd get away with running someone over by saying you'd never had a driving lesson. :laugh8:

    Crafty Maltsters

I've just bought from them for the third time and couldn't be happier with the quality. My efficiency has taken a massive jump since switching over to using their malt too. I do full volume BIAB, did a cream ale with half pale and half lager malt, both from CM, and clocked 91.4%. That's been my...

    Cheap Inkbird on Amazon

Mine arrived tonight! Got to love Amazon prime. Weird one tho, we got one package that was due to today and later on Mrs Honey Monster got notifications to say about 5 things had been delivered. No sooner had she come to say to me 'Amazon have just said they've delivered everything and we only...

    Cheap Inkbird on Amazon

They pay all the tax that is required of them in the UK. They're not doing anything illegal. Blame the system that allows them to do it, not Amazon themselves. I mean, if I could get away with paying less tax without breaking the law, I sure as sh*t would.:laugh8:
