Hi Just a quick question about maintaining fermentation temps, as my brewing career is really still at the embryo stage and now that winter is on its way, would members recommend a barrel band or an aquarium heater for keeping the temps correct? Until i can afford an AG set up, i will be using...

thanks for that...made mine with just red grape juice, a red wine yeast, some nutrient, strong tea, sugar and a cup of orange juice..not sure what it will turn out like ! maybe a really dumb question but what does WOW stand for :?

Hi Been really busy and i am totally addicted now! Made a gallon of blackcurrent ribena and apple juice cider on saturday and a gallon of red grape juice wine as well :D Going to top up the cider with the last carton of AJ today as its almost stopped bubbling... Wondering what to do next and...

Hi Got my ass into gear this weekend and finally got some beer on the go :D Followed the intructions to the letter so far apart from using spring water (got some 5l pets now to fill !) Checked it this morning and its bubbling away merrily :D Patience........................... :D cheers...

Hi Over the weekend managed to source a nice barrel and fv both of which have only been used once. The barre has a small amount of residue in the bottle and i have had it soaking with campdon tablets but i cannot reach it with a bottle brush..any clues or tips would be greatly appreciated...
