I am brewing this with brewferm bottom fermenting lager yeast. So far so good. I thought summer would be the ideal time as we rarely get weather warmer than the ideal working range for this yeast which is 11 - 15 oC.

No, I find the Brewferm yeast is a superb top fermenting yeast which brews and drops out very cleanly. It has left no bad flavours in any of the brews I have attempted.

I was wondering what hops would be recommended to create a belting IPA. My plan is to brew a kit IPA and give it an extra lift with extra malt and hop flavours. Any ideas on the hops to use? Thanks

Any advice on what dry hops to use for a light summer ale? I have some Cascade, Chinook, EKG and Styrian Goldings. Would they be any good to achieve a light & fruity aroma?
