Just done my first Nog and it has turned out very tasty, however it's only around 4 percent. Iam going to out another one on and want to modify it to make it a bit stronger. Any tips on how to do this? Was thinking about adding a jar of honey.

I recently done a bulldog triple tykes and am very disappointed with the results. Sometimes i wonder if the 2 can kits are worth the money.

I would imagine the dates will be good. I would be almost certain tesco sell hundreds of these kits a week hence a quick turnover in stock.

Stresco have a sale on with most coopers kits reduced from £13.50 to £10.00. fill your boots while you can because at these prices they wont be around long.:drink:

you should have done turbo cider. cider kits are not very good.

Either safale or nottingham yeast. I don't think it will be ready for Friday so why not give it a stir and see if I t comes down a bit.

I have done 3 wherrys and all stuck about 1.018. I would add some more yeast to restart fermentation,it worked well for me.

I would leave at least 6 weeks before you drink them. The instructions that comes with kits are rubbish.

I always do 23 ltr batches now it makes more sense. No need to boil anything just add your cider yeast at 21c.

Why not just use glass bottles? Beer always tastes better from glass tham pet bottles.

Well my second wherry kit is now drinkable and what a difference from the standard kit. I added an extra 300g of sugar and replaced the yeast with safale. I have another kit on to which i added a jar of honey so will let you know how it turns out.
