They are great Kits. My findings so Far. As per the Bulldog Cortez gold Mexican Cerveza the Malt is in a plastic Pouch that has a easy to pour screw top - which I love - I hope this catches on with other manufacturers as it really is a godsend. Started this kit the same night as the Bulldog...

Hi Markdon, Looks to be a good Kit - still very active now on day 8 - so I think this will go the full 14 days!!

I'll get my thoughts on this one up later today - got the nativity this after noon *joy* It seems to have been a very active ferment - and Im going to check gravity this afternoon - and of the yeast has worked anywhere near as hard as the Mexican lager Im expecting its nearly time for the hop...

Day 8 and Im at 1008 - She's Ready for bottling according to the sheet!!!!! - 1st time I've had a kit keep to the schedule as per the instructions - tried the sample jar - tastes like flat sol - so Im happy time to start 2nd Fermentation in bottles :cheers:

Did the Hop Tea for this yesterday and its smelling lush - now to wait a week and start testing for the FG - I'll try and grab some pics of the bin prior to bottling.

:thumb: I've now got mine wrapped up in a quilt to help them along - so Im sat now thinking positive C02 thoughts for the stout - As with yours its very tasty - so Im hoping for some carbonation and a nice white head on them when I open at Christmas......if I can hold myself back long enough...

I've been enjoying the Air Cured ham that Brewdog seem to sell behind the bar in Leeds - nice and tasty and goes down well with the Beers. But the Idea of Pork Scratchings has me craving a bag and a Pint right now....

Does this usually take a while to Carb up? Mine have been in the warm for a week - decided to try one - you know just as a test mind, very small phzz on opening the bottle and flat as a pancake - tasted fine - I'm just hoping that I've not dropped a ball at somepoint - as due to family...

I read it at 1037/ish so not far off whats on the side of the box. On day 2 now with the kit and I can see a nice bulge on the lid of the FV - so things are coming along nicely :cheers:
