Barnsley Brewer what is that perspex lid?

I like this idea! Would it work on the boiler too I ask myself....I'd need a seal and a vent for steam...hmm... My automated hop hoppers drop hops down a shoot into the boil, but the shoot being open to the boiler gets steamed up. To counter that I use an extracter fan mounted on the wooden...

    bending 10mm ss tube

I bought a length of 3m, 10mm, OD 1mm wall thickness SS pipe from BES that came in an impressive 3m long box! I lay it on the floor with one end of it strapped to a cornie keg and rolled the keg along the garden! Hey presto, one coiled pipe for counter-flow chiller purposes! Steve

    Drilling Through Stainless Steel

Drill very very slowly and keep the bit cooled, I ran a hose pipe over my SS Nordic pot and had the bit drilling under water in very short pulses (ie 1 second pulses!).....it worked a treat and the hole cutter is ready for more work. The slightest bit of heat and it will work harden, if the bit...
