I don't suppose anyone has one of these lying around, preferably in grey as it's missing from my John Smiths Extra Cold pump

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

To be honest I can't remember but I racked mine as there was a lot of **** on the bottom and then left it as the yeast will clear up after itself resulting in a clearer beer and less sediment in the bottle. Don't go off the instructions for timings, be patient mate. :thumb:

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

When I did mine it was in the FV for 3 weeks. Patience is the key with this kit, presumably due to the high alcohol content

    First AG

I noticed a difference straight away to be honest, there's so much difference from a kit which, from my experience, is only getting somewhere drinkable at about 6 weeks but improving over the coming months. This was amazing at 2 weeks!!! God knows what it'll be like at 3 months :drunk:

    First AG

Well it's all now gone into a cool dark place to live and I've got to try and forget about it, out of sight out of mind......yeah right

    First AG

Update Well guys it's been 2 weeks in the bottle and until tonight I'd resisted the temptation :drink: I totally agree with you Steve, so young but tastes so good, I'm amazed. I know all the AG brewers on here say this but it's hard to comprehend till you've tasted it. I can't wait till...

    Festival Razorback IPA

I've not made this yet, on my to do list, but I have made the Festival Golden Stag and it's pretty much the same process. I put the hop pellets into the FV, it took a few days but they dissolved into a green sludge that sat on the surface but after a week or so it sank. When it was time to...

    My new bar

Very nice but $70 for shipping bumps the price up, is there nowhere in the UK that does them or similar?

    My new bar

I haven't got a budget as such just yet as it's in the thinking/planning stage. £300 wouldn't be a problem though. Your set up looks cool  how much did that lot set you back?

    My new bar

Thanks guys, the guy who made it has done a cracking job and I think the oak is much better than the softwood it was originally planned for. I'm thinking about getting into cornys in the next few months I got the pumps off eBay awhile back just for decorative purposes but it's only in the...

    My new bar

Hi guys Just got my latest addition finished and I'm well chuffed with it although I can't claim to have made it myself  The pumps are just for decoration atm, not sure which road I'm gonna go down in relation to kegging, but the lights are wired up and working. But most importantly...

Is it worth getting a bottle tree/rinser

You could but much much easier is to invest in a bottle steriliser/rinser, push the bottle down a couple of times then onto the tree, simples!
