Things we all used to do.

Google maps works for point to point navigation but I like to see smaller scale mapping on a large piece of paper.

Things we all used to do.

To explain: 1. I buy 2nd hand CDs at 3 Euros which works out cheaper than digital downloads. I have a car with a CD player and listen to them there. 2. I was taught to write with a fountain pen at school and use it when I'm writing a long letter be sent by post. Biros tend to write poorly as...

    Electric cars.

Because the energy supply (fossil fuel or battery) must be contained to protect the occupants from fire in case of an accident.

    Electric cars.

That would be equivalent to saying "We have protect the occupants and the fuel tank" on an ICE car. Essential for safety.

    Electric cars.

Hiring makes sense in that one is only losing while the vehicle is temporarily in ones possession. Which hire company would run at a loss with vehicles it owns? Marking assets to a company is not as easy as it sounds.

    Sodium metabisulfite for water treatment

Would boiling evaporate the chlorine since the chlorine would have reacted with the water to produce HOCl and HCl? Boiling may lead to reactions with the boiling vessel and further oxychlorides such as HClO3.

    Pint of prosecco anyone?

my first site misinformed me. If you would also like to know why wine is generally sold in cases of 6 or 12, it is simply because 1 gallon equals 6 bottles and 2 gallons equal 12 bottles.

    Pint of prosecco anyone?

Because the puff of glass blowers was between 65 and 75 cl they settled for an average glass blower for spirits or the smaller bottles went for spirits. That is just my hypothesis. Why 70 cl?

    Pint of prosecco anyone?

The glass blower volumes were, in fact, between 65 and 75 cl. A higher volume was chosen for wines. Maybe, the middling 70 was chosen for spirits since full bottles aren't drunk at one sitting.

    Pint of prosecco anyone?

Sigh! The point is that it was never that glass blower should have 75 cc blowing capacity (according to some Parisian metric weights and measures institute) to establish the volume of a bottle. Why not have 1 litre bottles?

    Pint of prosecco anyone?

The point is that it's 3/4 or 3/8 of a litre. The quoted volume is just for the tax man but the guzzler just drinks a volume that was established whenit was discovered that the lung capacity of the blowers made bottles that contained from 65 cl to 75cl of drinks thanks to a single “blow” and...
