I find most coppers kits are fine at 12l with little or no suger. There pail ale is very good or a kit. I do it to 15l with 500g dme so I would think 10l should be fine too

if i was to do i 1 can 10L brew is it just a case of half of everything. 500g brewing sugar 125g candy sugar / 50g galaxy hops boil hops for 15 mins. top up to 10 litres bottled water. 5.12% ?? i sound like a total n00b but i have 100% brewed before :grin:

Yes the Wherry is a good brew. the coopers was very nice, not super bitter but there was a kick to it. i do like the sound of your Coopers Dark/Hobgoblin i am a fan of Hobgoblin. what would the hop schedule be? was is a small brew or did you add fermentables to it?

i have a few packs of safale s-04, i will brew to 20L as 4.5%(ish) is fine for me.

that sounds like somthing worth frying, its nice and easy. i also found 100g sealed bag of fuggle hops if that makes any difference

i have some Tettnanger, Cascade and Citra how ever brew day is Thursday this week and i will be calling to the local brew shop so can pick up anything thats needed. as for my brew style i will do what ever is thrown at me as long as its a light ale/ipa or bitter type beer.

i have 2 cans of coopers medium LME, i was wanting to know if you have any quick brew to turn them into a nice better or ale i was hoping it would be as easy as adding hops?

no but temps drop fast tghis time of year, my car says 23c on Saturday and today 15c. i always start to brew on the 1st of September. how ever this year i will be getting a brew fridge.

Hi, i have just ordered 2 corny keg's, with one gas set up. if i force carb a keg then remove all the gas line and party tap to put on the second keg will the first keg stay under presser? if not is there a way to do this so save me spending £70 for ever keg i have/get

I give wine kits around 4 weeks to age, then i start to drink. if i do 2 bottles a week and i have a 30 bottle kit the last bottle would be 19 weeks aged and i have never really noticed a difference. many bottles may get longer then the numbers i have shown because i do a few kits at a time.

no it should not give a bad flavor, i have had kits that would not clear and i have added finings 3 and 4 times
