Hey guys, the free hop raffle went really well so I thought I would do a ticket based one.

You can win:
1kg of your choice of hops

It costs:
Only 50p to enter!

It runs for:
15 days

Maximum of 200 tickets but this will unlikely be reached :)

Checked with all the regulations on raffles and everything to make sure I am allowed to do this and all looks good!

Here is the link, you will need to answer a question first - Hop raffle

It’s not that difficult to sign up. I’ve decided to give it a go. If it had been a Facetube only I wouldn’t have.

Interesting. 1 prize - apparently worth ÂŁ70 for 10 100g's of hops?
Max of 200 tickets at 50p per ticket. (ÂŁ100)

Nice little earner for someone.

Expensive hops at 70 a kg
Loads of people do these hop raffles on Facebook, buy cheap hops from cml, sell over priced tickets and the winner is ..... same guy each time.

* - I am not saying that this is the case here at all.

Minus the he websites ten percent commission.

It feels like good odds to me. A worthy punt.

I’ve gambled a few quid on it. Worth a try. If it wasn’t on this forum then I’d have give it a miss.

There are some interesting (crappy) raffles on there also. A nice way to sell cheap **** and generate over the top revenue for it. But then I guess that’s the point if a raffle.

To be fair he did post -

in the OP and he is probably going to get less than 100 by the looks of the replies in the thread, its a 50p gamble no one is forcing members to take part!

I don't think Ben's going to make his fortune on this one, lucky to break even, I reckon. It's just a bit of fun on Keg-That's part. Fortunately, my fridge is creaking under the weight of hops and another kilo is the last thing I need. Time to get some IPAs on. Trouble is that during this warmer weather (today's *****, by the way) I fancy larger quantities of weaker beers.
