1st brew - the results are in...

Just tasted my first home brew today after 2 weeks in the FV and 2 weeks carbonating. It was a long wait but and absolutely delighted with the results!

It’s a SMASH with Pale malt and Amarillo hops, I’d call it a blonde beer by style.

Blown away that I could make something this good at the first attempt. Got a another SMASH with pale malt and cascade carbing and can’t wait get into some more complex recipes.

Congratulations. Doubly so as a blonde beer like that is not the easiest to make and not as forgiving of errors as some other styles.

Excellent stuff and a fine choice of hops for both your beers. Third keep the same recipe and use both hops as they are delightful and compliment one another although similar.
