2l /3l Erlenmeyer flasks

Saw this on Facebook, 2l flask less than a tenner delivered, 3l less than £12.50 if you get it delivered to your local shop.

Billy Bargain, my 2l was £18, and I'd much prefer a 3l one with headroom for a 2l starter.

Yeah, these look great but I wonder if, at that price, the glass is a bit thin.

I'm pretty sure I bought my flask from them. I heat it directly on a gas hob to make my yeast starters and it's been fantastic so far. I think I aid a bit more than that, but this was some time ago.

I bought a 2l from there and am happy with it. Seems solid but never heated it on gas. What do you mean by delivered to local shop?

UPS parcel points, usually a local offy or newsagent, handy if you work. Otherwise RM for a quid more direct to your house.

There was a thread a few weeks ago where these were recommended and mine arrived this week (3L) and has just been tested, I used some Bunsen burner guaze I picked up from Amazon with it on our gas hob, seems good and survived going from the hob to a cold sink.
