One of the people interviewed yesterday said their father had told them if you want to know what it was really like on that day watch the opening of Saving Private Ryan as they got it spot on, its not a wonder few ever talked about it afterwards.

Every year on 6 June I read about this in Wikipedia, and 9 years ago I visited the beaches, it keeps being an event that gives goosebumps.
