Just brewed the range american ipa and when moved it to my fermenting cupboard i opened the lid pitched the yeast then filled up the airlock using a cup with some fresh water in but i put a bit to much water in the 3 peice airlock so i decided to pull it out an i think as i pulled it a bit of water sucked in through it everything was sanitized and rinsed do you think it will effect the brew everything was going right until that minor fault what may cause a waste of time money and beer litterally the last thing i did and messed it up i think has this happened to anybody before

Relax. Almost certainly going to be absolutely fine. One of the best pieces of advice I was given on this forum is that the worst thing you can do to a brew is worry about it.

Let the yeast do its thing and I am sure all will be well.
