....but an unwatched pot does!
How very annoying.
Thats what happened on my first ag brew day, we where watching intently then the second theres a distraction it boiled over everywhere.
It’s put another 30 mins on brew day.
I've never had a boil over, do not know if I am lucky or doing something that stops it but can not think what and thats in years of brewing.
I did the biggest batch I have done today and had my kettle as full as I dared - as the boil approached I watched it intently and slightly nervously to try to avoid just that. I hope you got back on track
I normally watch it/hang around but I went and made a brew, I thought with only 1 element running and the PID turned down to 75% I’d be safe.
After 60 mins it was really baked in to the outside of the kettle.
Did you lose much? because a little can go a long way to looking like a volcanic eruption
I don’t think so, definitely under 1L.
Dazzled no doubt! Bar keepers friend will shift it easily.
never had one, I have been close when I had the kettle at 27L
I believe we both have the klarstein fullhorn and I had mine to 26L yesterday and it was as far as I dared go
I have never done it since Chris
Nothing will test your marriage / relationship like a nice boil over on SWMBO's freshly cleaned stove top. For extra points get it on the freshly cleaned floor too.
