First off, hi this is my first post. Iv done a couple of successful kits and am thinking of trying a bit of dry hopping before I move to extraction.

I'd like to make a brewdog punk IPA type beer. I was thinking of using an English pale kit as my base and dry hopping with the same hops as the punk IPA (Chinook, Simcoe, Ahtanum, Nelson Sauvin hops.)

My questions are:

Will this work?
How much of each hops should I use, when and how? (Iv researched a bit about dry hopping but not an expert by any means)
Do you suggest I do anything else?

Thanks for replies in advance
Chris

All those hops might get a bit expensive. Maybe pick one or 2 that give the characteristics you really like and go for them.

I've not tried the couple of brews I've hopped yet. Maybe someone might tell you which are best and how much to use. What vflavours of the punk do you really like?

Regarding amounts I would say minimum you should use is 25g and max about 85g

I have just dry hopped with 40g of centennial and the aroma was amazing.

Do you think Chinook and Ahtanum will work nicely together?

Any suggestion on amount? Am I right in thinking I would add it after the initial fermentation for a week or so?
