After 400 boils my Burco boiler is browned off

Does anyone know how to clean it ( no scratching and no chemicals that might damage the heater seal or tap). Thanks.

Recently I used white vinegar boiled with baking soda, then scraped off with a wooden spoon.

Make it into a paste, and with a bit of elbow grease it should be shiny and new. Ok, a lot of elbow grease.

Go to Tesco and buy some oxi clean for whites put plenty in boiler, dilute with some warm water then fill the boiler and warm it up .

After every boil I wash my Ace boiler out with nothing but water and give the bottom and sides a good scrub with a stainless steel pan scourer. These things contain no grit or anything like that but really cut through crud. As you're just rubbing stainless on stainless they don't actually scratch the surface at all.
Actually I use on plastic FVs as well and they don't seem to even scratch the plastic either.
