What about this guys?

This is a David ("the man") Heath review of a GF vs the latest Robobrew model. Very interesting, indeed.
I have had a GF for 80 brews and almost 3 years now. It has its faults for sure, mainly from fine grain crushes.
The competition comes in at half the price and the main attractions of the GF are:
  • The controller function, for which I would have little or no use, then, now, or in the future.
  • The counter-flow chiller, which I see as the main attraction of the GF system.
Are the GF plusses really worth £300? Nope.
Should I have waited 3 years to save £300? Same Answer, Nope. Made some fantastic beers with the GF.
Advice to a new buyer? Do the maths. Divide the cost of the system by 100 (a fair estimate for starters) and add that to the cost of a 23L brew.

It does seem a great buy at around £300...I wonder if it would last?
How long should a GF last? How quickly will it bring the wort up to boiling? What's the advantages of recirculating the mash? What about cleaning?
