Another newbie

Hi all, another newbie from, Oxfordshire...been researching for a few months and have a few brews on the go already...but having a friendly resource can only help. Maybe one day I'll be able to reply as well as ask questions!!

Country wines are my thing...have some rhubarb, peach, strawberry, and blackberry wine all on the go...and also just started some scrumpy...

Word of warning!

A mate of mine (who had never brewed before) looked at a Recipe for Rhubarb Wine and said to his wife "Surely it can't need that much sugar!" and promptly halved the recommended amount stated in the Recipe.

His wife took one small sip of the finished product ...

... and made him drink the rest himself, as a punishment for ignoring the recipe's advice!
