Hi all, does anyone have a recipe for an all grain APA style beer packed with citrus flavours.

I do have brewers friend software but am looking for ideas as well.

Brew size is 5 gallons and I usually dry hop as well

Over to you, thanks in advance

In my opinion APAs are best kept simple.

100% Pale Malt to around 5% ABV.

40 IBUs (split at 5 IBUs 60min and 35 in the last few minutes of the boil).

Dry hop at a rate of 4-5g/L

All using one or a combination of Citra, Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo, Simcoe.

I have made the following APA a few times:
60% Pale malt/40% Vienna (I did 3kg/2kg for 5.52% ABV)

Falconers Flight at 60mins (10g), 15mins (25g), 5mins (25g), flameout (50g). Dry hop 90g for 5 days.

It’s turned out great both times. Seemed more bitter than just 35IBU as well

The FF works really well! I tend to bitter with Apollo then do flame out and steep and dry hop with FF. My malt bill is usually around 4kg pale with some crystal, maize, oats and wheat. I'm working on my house pale ATM and have done it with the FF and combo of cascade, amarillo, citra. My malt bill is going to be tweaked next time. I plan to ditch the maize, change the wheat for flaked barley and up the oats, drop the ebc on the crystal.

Have a look on the HBF comp winning recipe lists. You will find a winner on there for sure.

You can thank me later.
