Hi,I've just joined this group and would like to post my first thread.
I have recently started brewing again after a 2 year layoff .
I have 40 pints of woodford wherry conditioning in 500ml bottles.Ive done this 2 can kit before and it turned out a nice brew.
I've also just started a wilko artisan bitter but short brewed it to 36 pints and used 1kg demorara sugar to mix it up a bit.wonder if anyone has tried brewing with brown sugar.
If this turns out well fancy trying a wilko sweet newkie brown done the same way. Also I just used the yeast from the wherry (still in the fermentation barrel) and its going like crazy after a few hours.
I know you can buy decent 2 can kits for about £20 but I like to experiment.
Thanks in advance.

I have tried demarara sugar in wines,Personally i found it nothing to rave about.

These woodfords wherry kits do seem popular,My local HB shop was selling the complete kit including pressure barrel and fermenter for £80 last september.I should have bought oneasad1

Welcome "o" new one.
