Having visited Austria quite few times - our old family friend Helmut makes his own cider/ they call it most. Just crushes apples and leaves it in cellar - obviously conditions are perfect in the alps and his cellar - what comes out is absolutely wonderful stuff. Dry sharp cider that’s so lovely I wish I could make it here in England. Anybody know how to emulate this stuff? Or know of Most? They drink it like spritzer. It’s not sweet - it’s absolute heaven. If I could try and make some of this beautiful stuff it would be amazing and bring back memories of teenage-hood - sneaking a sip out of parents glass :) and later on in life getting very merry sampling his stuff from cellar!
