Avery Wine Labels (MD 4001)

Hi all,
As the labels are glossy, I'm finding the ink smudges when I put them on the bottles.
I normally leave them for five minutes to allow the ink to dry before applying.
Is there any way I can avoid this?

Colour laser printer, but make sure the labels are laser compatible. I used inkjet labels and wish I hadn't.

I'm happy with the print quality, Avery templates and label sizes, just the ink smudging issue.

Laser toner is waterproof and does not smudge as it is bonded to paper by heat

Have you tried the spray that's used by artists to fix oil pastel drawings?

I'll take a look. I've just bought an inkjet printer, so changing it for a laser isn't an option. Thanks for the link.
