Original Thread

A reminder of the rules:

All Grain only
Any Beer Style you like
1 to 6 Litres final volume
Any Malts allowed
Any Hops allowed
Any Sugars allowed
Any Yeast allowed
Copper & Keg Finings allowed
No Homebrewing equipment (or commercial JamesB) to be used with the exception of your thermometer, scales and fermenting vessel (demijohn).
No Brewing Software to be used.
Pictures must be taken of each stage of the brew.
Campden Allowed.

Oh...and I guess sanitiser/steriliser counts as home brew equipment? :cry: Best check if a dj will fit in the oven.

No rinse bleach solution wouldn't be homebrew equipment. I'm sure there's other methods though.

I'm in, good way to use up some leftover grain.

I've got some Maris otter lying around and some EKG. Also a little wheat malt. Going to go for a simple pale I reckon.

My oven doesn't go below 85C though so need to have a think around that one. I suppose the rules do say I can use a thermometer...

Need to scrub the curry stains off my big pan too :lol:
