Hi Everyone,

thanks for adding me.

I’ve come back to brewing after a few years off.
I mainly brew beer kits but I did progress on to making my own mash tun and spurge tank last time round out of some tea urns but didn’t really have the space for it all. Back to it now though thanks to covid-19. Starting off with a bulldog IPA kit, Raja’s reward.

I do have a question for you all though, where does everyone get their beer labels from? Any recommendations?
I live in Worthing. West Sussex

thanks

Darren

Rejoice, Darren. Lovely to have you aboard. Beer labels? You make your own, surely, and then print them and cut them out and stick them on the bottles with milk.

Hi DarrenC,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you planning to use your homemade equipment again, or stick with the kits?

I no longer bother with labels, just write a code on the cap, but I do remember trying out a site called Beer Labelizer.

thanks everyone,

I’ll be building up to a mash tun again, but I won’t be making it this time, to much hassle. I’ll probably go down the route of a boil pan and burner and a couple of insulated containers.

I find half the fun is designing labels and thinking up names for brews.
I’ll check out the websites you’ve suggested and see what I can find.

Check out BIAB (brew in a bag), only 1 vessel required, and the results are similar to full on 3 vessel systems
