I am about to rack a barley wine that was fermented with WLP007 Dry English Ale yeast. i was wondering if I salvage the yeast can I use it to make passable bread? If so does anyone have a tried and tested recipe?

Cheers

Ive haven't tried it myself but iirc its doable. There are a number of threads around the forum on this topic so if you have a little search you should come up with something

Don't expect it to rise anything like as well as with bakers yeast. But it does something, and if you chuck in a good amount of beery lees the result can be satisfying (seems to produce a nice shiny crust too).
