Why glucose rather than ME of some sort
I may yet decide to use malt extract. I just wanted to get to 12% (no good reason for this). The amount used is not likely to make any appreciable difference, probably 😉

Edit: I did use DME in the end. You won’t see glucose mentioned on the recipe sheet because I’ve updated it.

😂. The first two digits are the year. The following two are the number of brews in the year. The actual number of brews is probably around 250.
👍 That's much more realistic. But I do see you brewing all the time so wasn't sure.

If I'd stopped to do the maths, I would have realised that 2000 brews is one per week for 40 years! (Though again, that doesn't seem beyond your ability!)
 
Good morning folks and welcome to the weekend!

This morning I’ve cleared up all the mess, boiled the wort for 40 minutes and added 3 litres of cold-steeped roast grains. The two yeast starters are fine and healthy so all is looking good at the moment.
