Hi all
Was wondering if anyone had thoughts or experience of wether or not to use the oak chips mentioned but not included in the instructions?
Any advice most appreciated

Personally I don't associate Pinot Grigio with oak flavours, I think all the white kits get the same bits added to the box. When I made it I left it out and it came out really well, probably the best white kit I've made so far, certainly better than all the Tesco £5 bottles I've been served.

If the oak chips are not mentioned don't use them it's probably a packaging mistake and you could ruin the flavour if you do.

I bottled a batch of this the other week and didnt use oak chips and its fine considering itsyoung . I dont think iv had an oaked Pinot Grigio .

Brilliant thank you all. I think I will follow suit and just go with the contents included for now.
Just waiting for it to clear before tasting and bottling

Thank you
The better half liked it without the chips but might try them In The next batch
