About 10 days ago I found a pin cask that had blown the keystone out, I would normally (once before) sterilise it bang it back in and hope its OK. Problem was I couldn't find it, I couldn't think of anything else to do so poured it into a corny keg gassed it to 20psi. 3 days later I tried it and it was fine it had lost alot of carbonation so must have been without the keystone for a while, the trub came out in the 1st few pints. Yesterday its now over carbonated for the style but still tastes good with no off flavours. So really just sharing the results to show oxidation does not seem to have affected it, I will report back any change if there is any before its empty. The beer is Larkins porter.
