BJCP 2015 Category????

Hi All

cant find the best category for my 'Cocoa Double Espresso Porter'. It will have Espresso, Cocoa paste and Vanilla pods. It is essentially a Porter, but not sure you could put it in Baltic Porter and Robust (which it was listed as) doesnt seem to exist anymore!

You can igonore the extras for category purposes (coffee, vanilla cocoa). If it has black malt in it's a robust porter if it doesn't it's a brown porter

Great but what category is Robust Porter for the 2015 bjcp categories?

Looking at the 2015 guidlines they don't seem to have split porter into brown and robust. Now it seems it's just "English Porter" so I would say that is your category

Doesn't seem right to enter a competition as an English Porter when it has coffee, cocoa and vanilla in it - but not much option, even the oddball categories don't cover it except the catch all one!

Spice, Herb or Vegetable Beer (30A) with English Porter as the base style (if the statistics fit).
