Brewed this with 750g Dark Malt Extract and 200g Dextrose and used the kit yeast. After around 2 monthes it came out quite smooth with a slight choco/coffee flavour and a hint of liquorice. Rich flavours. Medium mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. If I were to brew this again I would use 1kg of Dakr malt extract for a more fuller body and more malt flavour.

One of the best stout kits out there, on par with Coopers Stout, probably has more of a roasted grain flavour to it. Worth a try if you love stouts.

Currently drinking this kit, agree with BrewSage1985's summation and would recommend the kit without reservation.

Brewed mine with 500g of Extra dark malt extract, 500g of dextrose and 908g of black treacle
