Hello all

I've just cold crashed an MJ Pils in my fridge and plan to bottle it over the next day few days. I'll prime in the bottle using carb drops.

Should I bottle cold straight out the fridge or let it reach room temperature before bottling?

I plan to use the same '2 Coopers carb drops per 500ml flip top bottle' as I usually do for these types of beers when I bottle at room temp. But, if I bottle cold, will the liquid expand as it reaches room temp and make a bomb scenario more likely? I'm thinking that if I let it warm before bottling, then the expanison has already taken place. Although, would this method undo any of the clarity achieved during the cold crash? Is the expansion so neglible I'm worrying about nothing?

Any advice much appreciated.

Cheers

Greg

I bottle straight from cold crash and never have a problem. I wouldn't worry

I've always bottled cold. I then stick the bottles back in my brew fridge at 20 degrees or thereabouts. Always carbed up within a week or so.
