I have a practically new aquarium heater and I was going to use that in a water bath. Would that be a better option?
We have the aquarium version. Please check the following details:
Inkbird ITC-308S temperature controller with replacement aquarium plastic probe - for heating and cooling
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inkbird-Temperature-Controller-Thermostats-Freshwater/dp/B07WK2SDT9
Inkbird ITC-306A WIFI temperature controller with two aquarium plastic probes - for dual heating no cooling
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inkbird-Temperature-Controller-Thermostats-Freshwater/dp/B07WV42NX2
There will be the biggest discount for the coming Black Friday (27th, Nov). Hope it is helpful.

I just gone to plug a lamp into the heating side but before I even got the plug into the socket the temp suddenly spiked and turned on the cooling for a split second... so it's just happened with nothing plugged into either socket
