Brewer's Friend Windows app 404

I use Brewer's Friend Windows app to construct my recipes, it works a treat. Easy to scale quantities and work out efficiency, brewday temperatures, etc..

I went to download it into a different Laptop today and ... 404 page not found!

As Brewer's Friend are probably looking to maximise their subscribed user base, I appreciate they may not give away this free tool for ever, but it just appears that this part of the website is dead. I can't download the app!

Anyone know if this is permanent or where else I can get the app from?

I thought it was all web based? I've never used an app of any sort on it.

Search your old laptop for the original installer? Could it still be in your downloads folder? You could send it to a USB stick.

I didn't even know there was an stand alone BF app for Windows. On my laptop I just load any BF stuff from the 'Calculators' link at the top of the HBF home page. Checked just now and the recipe section comes up fine, just like it did yesterday.

Tried the original installer. It throws and error saying it can't download a file from ... you guessed it, http://www.brewersfriend.com/windows/app

You might find an app mover that can copy the installation to the new laptop?
